Cookie Notice

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies Roomsies uses, and how you can control them.

What cookies we use

Roomsies uses a small number of cookies. We group them into two categories: strictly necessary cookies that make the Service work, and advertising cookies used to measure our marketing.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for core features and cannot be turned off through our site. We use a couple of small first-party cookies to make single-use invite links work correctly, for example to remember that you created a link so you are not treated as the person you invited. Your private conversation link itself lives in the URL, not in a tracking cookie. These cookies are not used to track you across other websites.

Advertising cookies (Google Ads)

We use Google Adsconversion tracking to understand whether our advertising is working, for example whether someone who clicked an ad went on to start a conversation. When enabled, Google's tag may set cookies (such as cookies in the _gcl_ family) and share limited measurement data with Google. This helps us measure and improve our ads. It is not used to read the content of your conversation, which is never shared with advertising providers.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google's partner-sites policy.

How to control cookies

  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break invite links and other features.
  • Opt out of ad personalization. You can manage Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of many advertising cookies at optout.aboutads.info.
